Got a almost worn-out 96 outback and want to get another, but don't find many with heated drivers seats. So it it possible-reasonable to retro fit them. The Mrs. likes em Thanks!

Wifey is bugged by the noise inside our old outback and wondering if any cheap-easy fixes. We have to shout to have any kind of conversation that includes passangers in the back seat... We were thinking a newer outback might be the ticket and rented an 2012 impreza for the weekend and it too suffered road noise at freeway speeds??? Thanks! Jeff

thanks for the ideas. Have to pull it apart and see what I'm up against. Cleaning the switch sounds like a good idea as well......just don't want to have one stuck up or down like the last time I had electric windows down there. Jeff

Anybody ever changed electric windows to hand wind up windows?? I spend 4-6 weeks every winter on the beach in Baja with my subaru and have had electric windows fail twice which is a BIG PITA as I sleep in the car. (I also bring a tent but the wind sometimes blows BIG for days and you get NO sleep with the tent flapping IF the wind is small enouigh that you don't have to take the tent down to avoid it being schreadded!) Just wondering how I might do this to my 90 Legacy..Thanks, Jeff

Got a running with headgasket problem 90 legacy AWD 5 speed wagon and want to get it outa here ( the MRS. does really and there might a reward if I do:brow:) What do I strip off it to stockpile for my other legacy's??? Jeff

Well just dropped $500 into tires for the Outback and was well worth it, rides nicer, steers bit better even quieter....the other beater one is gonna have to make do for awhile unless she takes me to Mexico soon and man I'm ready. Jeff
