i want to know if I can put ej18 heads on ej22 block ej18 has the distributer and it is carlburated so I dont want to mess with all the wiring it is offroder project leone wagon

everithing fits only you have to do some small fabrication

ja i know that I didnt putt up any pictures from 2.gen legacy this guy has a scrapp yard at home but onli legacyc and leone he cutt the car in pices befor we did the swap so he had only parts uround the house those parts in the pictures are from lagacy 2.gen it is better to use 2.gen gas tank becaus you dont need the small box in your right rir fender DONT KNOW HAW TO CALL IT IN ENGLISH

all the trany fits in any lagacyc as long is 1 or 2 gen there is onli the differenc in the drive shaft from transmition to rirdiff it is a bit longer in gen2 legacyc but it is not a problem if you have bouth drive shafts this one used to be EJ18 2wd and we turned it to EJ22 awd the motor,transmition and rir diff came out from 2.gen legacy wagon the rir suspension(rir bridge) was taken off 1.gen legacy wagon this is what we call rir bridge and the drive shaft donnor car for rir "bridge" and drive shaft

legacy gen 1 and 2 does not matter if it si sedan or wagon everything will bolt on any car they are the same only the outside look si different no rewiring for the engine change as long is the same engine(EJ22=EJ22) but if j you change te engine(EJ18=EJ22)or any oder engin swap you will hawe ti put in the wiring from the car you took engine(so dash and all wires in engine space must bi different)binn done 10 times it is eazy the transmition? all the transmitions are pretimuch the same only the geer ratio is different some EJ18 legacyc had push button 4x4(hi and lo range) this transmition is a bit smaller becaus is the same like in leone there is the differance in the drive shaft from transmition to the rirdiff becaus legacy 2gen has a bit longer wheelbase then the 1gen in europe all the transmisions with 4x4 have hi and lo range except the cars with turbine(legacy gen 1 turbo,impreza gt,wrx,wrx sti) we buy 2wd legacys with EJ18 engins and then we turn them to EJ22 awd in the most cases we take parts off legacy 2 gen(not so old and damaged engines and better car handling(sway bar is batter made))

well if you have 4x4 at least two wheels mast spin but with awd it is posible that onli one wheel will spin becaus is computer controled but if you pul handbrake all wheels vil stop

here in europe all 4x4 and awd legacy has low range and they came woth full time all whell drive and push button for weeling we just put 2" blocks betven the struts and chasy

does anybody know something abouth that car GST??? strange becaus I have not ever saw that mark

well I have been in mud with many off those cars and never got stuck. mud was over the tires and the car keeps moving but I was all the time in first gear and full trotle so the weels were spining engine was at 7000 rpm for several minuts

well I was thinking to do t 5 lug swap on mine 1989 gl wagon and what parts do I have to take off legacy wagon-friends parts car can you gays please help me becaus I want bigger rims on mine wagon 13" is just not looking good this must be done becaus I will swap the engine from EA82 to EA82T
