4 to 6 lug conversion question
When doing this conversion, what years Toyota's are people using? I noticed in searching (87 Toyota for 87 Brat) that the bolt pattern is 6-139 instead of the Brat's 140. Does this make a difference? I would PM, but I'm still too new to do so, sorry for any clutter this question might create, but I would really appreciate any answers I might receive.

What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)
Bought my 87 Brat a few months back and just changed the drums, shoes, calipers, pads, and CV joints. What a fun time that was. About to order and install a Weber carb.

Compiling database for Gen2 Brat sales evaluations
I bought my Brat several months ago for close to $4k. It was on the high side, but it is in pristine shape. 1987 never looked so good (in car form)!

Austin TX Intro
Hello everybody, I've been a member of USMB for a little bit now, but over the last few months I was able to get my hands on a mint condition 1987 Brat and have been loving it. I have plans for the Brat (as everyone does), but I'm planning on keeping it looking as stock as possible. I'd like to see her hit 100 hp (hopefully with existing 1.8L engine) and completely rust free with a new oem looking paint job. I 've owned 3 Subaru's over the past 5 years starting with the 2006 WRX, then trading that in for the 2006 STI I currently own. I modified the STI to my likeing and am now running it stage 2 with "stage 2" suspension. I have done many other things to it including interior modifications, headlights, and other exterior bolt on mods, but I really wanted the Brat. So I found a the Brat I wanted a year and a half later in San Antonio and here I am. Haven't seen another Brat driving around anywhere in Texas and get as many if not more looks out of my Brat as I do the STI. Love the Brat and love Subaru's - Suuubaaruuuuuu!!!

Undecided Engine Plans '87 Brat
As you can see I'm new, and only hope my question is in the right thread. I am interested in an engine swap or upgrades to my stock 87 Brat. I have read a little about the engine being opened up by those in the aviation community, but have no clue where to begin looking (in Texas). I was also considering dropping another engine, but didn't know if I would need to change out the ECU, engine, and wiring to completely match to the converting engine type (as I would assume I would need to). I'm looking to stay looking as stock as possible, but my goal for HP would be to hit or slightly surpass 100, with a 5 speed transmission; ANY information that anyone could give would be greatly appreciated.
