Drat. I didn't even see this until now! It was a pleasure meeting all of you at WCSS, and great to see some familiar faces at the show and on the trip out (Russ, Noah, Jack in Idaho, Connie, and Shawn). Thanks again, I had a great time!!!

I'll be in Eugene during that time frame--so if no one minds a Ford Escort hatch showing up (long story) the East Coasters will have at least one representative.

I called the front desk right after you hung up, I could've moved but it would have been $150 for the extra night!! The front desk clerk was nice about it and gave me this one for the extra night at the regular weekday rate. Also, there is a couch here as well.

Matt, that thing is a museum piece! We're all wondering if AAA will be towing us to Carlisle and you're musing about whether your 53K mile brand-new GL will start? Puh-leez.

And what a great car this is! You'll see her at Carlisle, not the prettiest thing on the block but a STRONG runner. Will go 80MPH+ without breaking a sweat...we'll see what happens on hills but so far everything's been very encouraging.

So the yellow Bug didn't sway you, Connie? And Mary--will you be re-lining the bed or leaving it painted this time around?

He was smart,witty, calm and collected when I had him...then just plain depressed on the way back from Wyoming. Glad to see you're undoing the year he spent out there

Paul, thanks for not outright identifying me--but I think most people on the board can put two and two (vintage owner from CT/fire sale going on in the Subaru Marketplace) together. It's not been a good year for me, Subaru-wise; I'll try to make it but it doesn't look likely. If anyone's planning on going but has not yet registered, shoot me a PM and I'll mail you my entry card, if they're transferable (not sure if they are so call Carlisle ahead and find out if you want it). Hope everyone has a great time. (I'm assuming I won't be able to make it.) And hopefully I'll see you all next year.
