  1. i'll check the wheel out as far as movement goes. are wheel bearings easy to change out on these things? call me dumb, but what is a DOJ? need to find an abreviation glossary! haha.
  2. So, sometimes when i make a left turn at a slower speed but not super slow, i get a 'hum' like a vibration hum. any ideas what that might be? axle related? something else?
  3. i suppose.. nitro would probably have a higher top end and where the electric would have a somewhat quicker accelleration. i like noise
  4. mines a baby, 104,689. 92 Loyale. our 2000 Outback has 176k (70k or so on the used motor we just had put in)
  5. ah, nice dude. what scale is that? i wonder if it would fit the 10th scale nitro car i have...
  6. i didnt see it asked previously.. so, Will this Nissan Alternator fit with the a/c still installed? i noticed all the pics seemed to be lacking the a/c
  7. i dont know what the interior of the brats look like compared to my loyale, but this is what i did... http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=103792&highlight=holder got a slide out cupholder from the junkyard, had to modify the radio bracket and facia, works good. since my amFM radio only has 5 presets, i really only use 2 of them anyways. so it works out well for me.
  8. i hear ya, i am also tempted, but have no place to put it!
  9. just tell her to start with something like this... and you go haha. ok... back on topic.
  10. well.. fortunately for you.. my maturity level is way low. thanks for the tip on the bj's, i dont need to do any bjs now but im sure sometime in the future.
  11. hah, honestly, i dont really blame you for being that angry. im just too much a p*ssy to pull somethin like that off. more of a non confrontational person am i. regardless, i hope someone finds this guys car before its either busted up or stripped.
  12. also lately i looked under my car to see where the oil is coming from :-\ boooo Oil drips!
  13. You cant imagine how hard it is for me not to comment on that comment. anyways. how hard is it to change them out on these cars? I ATTEMPTED to replace the ball joint on our '00 outback wagon and 3 hours later and a lie to AAA Towing we had the damn thing cut in half and the hub off the car and still couldnt not get it to free up for the life of me. ended up getting a used hub from the junkyard for like $50 with a good ball joint, wheel bearing, and abs sensor in it. Ball Joint from Autozone: $35 Used Hub from J. Yard: $50 next time i need to do a ball joint i think i am gonna o back for the other hub!
  14. Wow! That guy is officially a douche! That's pretty lame of the guy to do that. I don't know how many people I've turned down because of a pending offer etc
  15. i know. i meant that in total sarcasm. i had to laugh because when i was contemplating a 5spd swap i forgot about that part at first.
  16. I put some new 6.5" speakers in my front doors and installed on of these... I just have the AM/FM radio, so i just use the FM transmitter thats built in, its good enough that if i put it on a radio station that actually has a station, it'll still over power it and block it. so thats pretty sweet. i just removed the clock and stuck the display in that hole and wired it behind the dash, looks kinda ghetto. i MAY or MAY NOT fix it soon depends how ambitious i get. LOL! (pics to come soon.)
  17. not a tow bar, thats the front bumper hanging off of one side!
