  5. Yes very true. The part that really attracts me towards the car is its all done and exactly what i wanted to build. Its even the color i wanted. And at this point i'm really pressed for time so i can't exactly build a car up and i'm in need of a better vehicle than i'm currently driving. -cody
  6. Ya... the cat back was 200$ i know the place that did it. So thats why i was thinking 2300$. Well thanks fellas i'll probably make him an offer today so we'll see what happens.... -cody
  7. You guys crack me up:lol: Well the kid that bought it lives in the same town as me and is sort of a D-bag. He's still in high school and lost his license already. And the only thing he did to it was have a crush bent cat-back put on it. lol The inside is extremely clean also. -cody
  8. grossgary- I'm not planning on paying 2800$ for it. I was thinking more in the range of 2300ish...thanks for your input. Qman- Yes it looks as though it was. The water pump was deffinatley new. Couldn't see the timing belts however... The clutch was most of the way through its adjustment range. thanks again -cody

  19. So i've discovered that i have a broken engine mount. I went down to the local napa thinking it wouldn't be a big deal to get a new one. I figured they couldn't be more than about 15-20 bucks. WRONG! Not only can i not get them from napa, they are a dealer only part:mad: and with a nice low price of 94.99$ a piece! So does anyone know where i can get them at a normal price? Or maybe somebody has one or two laying around there garage? Any input would be greatly appreciated! thanks -cody
  20. (***.M.?) I'm assuming thats the freddies lol. And maybe a little earlier? Like 9:00am? Lets take a vote! I vote 9:00am. -cody
  21. I've got an 80' hatch key and it starts a friend of mines 80' wagon, my 86' hatch and my 77' wagon:grin: It seems this thread has turned into who has the most universal key:rolleyes: -cody
  22. ordered 2 EMPI 80-5504 axles off ebay 51.95 each. Hope you had better luck than a friend of mine did(another board member also). He ordered some from a shop off of ebay and only one of the two would fit through the wheel bearings. The one that did poped and clicked like crazy! I would suggest buying from napa, car quest, etc.. Just my 2 cents -cody
