ya i would help but like i said, that's an hour and a half away and sand lake is almost 2 and a hours away. it would be nice if there was somewhere closer to where i live but i guess beggars cant be choosers.

wow that is really cool though i cant wait, it is an hour and a half away from my house, give or take, but it will be way cool anyway. also i am going to check out the oregon dunes, i hear they are the best place to go, but that is 4 and a half hours away:eek:, bummer lol

ya the local spot that everyone here used to go to got closed down because the damn high school kids would go out there and trash the place......5-10 years:eek: that's a long time to wait.

Out here there almost isn't anywhere we can go anymore without risking a ticket, dibblee point and south canaan are both patrolled and or gated. This annoys me. I'm gonna try sand lake and browns camp cause I here good things. What about farther north; astoria, westport, clatskanie, even longview/kelso. Anyspots out in sandy that are ok?

Ya most of our local spots are patrolled now like gunners lake and bunker hill. red cut is a more difficult area so the police wont go out there. how cool is browns camp? Jones beach is pretty cool too. What about Washington, I don't know any places out there. I'm always looking and exploring but it take a lot of gas even in a subaru.

I live just north of portland oregon and i was wondering if anyone knows of any cool places that are semi local to go wheelin at. i know about the mainstream spots like sandlake, but does anyone know any places a little more private. all ideas are welcome; sand, mud, trails, climbs ect.

i got a ticket the other day for speeding and the officer and i had different opinions on how fast i was going, so he told me to get my speedometer adjusted and show the judge reciepts and my ticket might get dropped. i have an 87 hatch w/ d/r and i put 27'' tires on, so i was wondering if anyone has any idea on how to adjust the speedo for better accuracy.

how do i adjust the rear brakes. i still have drums and i am not used to subaru style brakes. help?

there are so many freakin' vacuum lines its not funny. i have an 87 gl hatchback ea81, the smog has been removed by a previous owner. i wanted to know if anyone could show me a vacuum line map or some kind of visual. lots of lines, i don't know what they go to, wear they come from, or for that matter what they are doing (if anything).

what else do i need to buy with the carb? ive heard something about jet, and adaptor plates, and intake manifolds? a little carification would be really cool

it is a hatchback......what is the difference between the water choke and electric, as far as installation, performance, and repair?

there are so many choices, i have no idea what the difference is. i drive a 1987 subaru gl hatch, 4wd d/r. i think i should get a 32/36 but what is the difference between DFEV and DGAV and DGEV and DGV. which one should i get and why?

will it fit an ea81 hatch?

87 gl hatch d/r ea81 i've only driven it twice (had it only a month) but everytime i drive it the oil pressure redlines and i cant figure out why. i wont drive it like that for fear of ruining anything. any guesses?

where is a good place to find the rims??? just some cheap steely's would be fine with me
