    After going to the west coast subaru id really like to get together with other Old Gen Subaru lovers here in the NW. i see so many pages on facebook etc on the new gen (which are great and i love em) but i want to see all the Old gen rigs. Would anyone be want to join in on this? Im thinking after christmas time. If your interested Post on here or pm me. maybe if we find out where everyone is coming from finding a good place to all meet would be easier. Im in Salem, OR Where yall at?

    Im looking to see if anyone has any awesome ways of repairing or re-sealing the gaskets on my t tops for my 86 brat. its seems they are leaking through the latch on the outer side. one on the locking latch as well in the middle. Id assume i could probably open them up and put sealant in there. but before i do that i am looking for the best ways to do it.

    My ignition switch went out and my brat won't start. We replaced battery terminals checked grounds and my door still dings but it doesn't even try to turn over. The ignition switch is bad it had melted the connector. If I don't find one today I won't get to go to west coast Subaru show. I'm in Salem. Let me know if you have one Call or text me if its easier

    My rpm gauge on my 86 brat usually doesn't work but on occation will start working. I'm assuming its a ground. I haven't tried too hard to investigate thought I'd get some ideas from you guys first. Also anyone know if gen 1 brat canopy will fit on a gen 2? I need one before next weekend for the west coast sub show and I'd like to take my pups.

    I'm was actually having a lot of trouble locating the damn filter cuz it ended up on the drivers side. *facepalm* But it got replaced and I just took it to 70mph! Thanks for the help guys!

    Around 37-40mPh regaurdless whether I'm flooring it lightly on the gas it does some medium bucks and sounds like its going to die As for rpms my tac doesn't work lol

    Intake gaskets are brand new. We were going to Do a ea82 swap for the intake and use a 82carb also but decided weber was a better choice.

    So other then the carb we have fuel filters and what else?

    150 main 145 then air correctors are 170 160 idle jets are 50 and 55. It was doing this prior to the webber but I thought it was my carb in the first place

    Thanks for all the ideas everyone! I checked fuel pressure already and it was good. The secondary seems to get gas but it doesn't seem to be near as much. But that's normal isn't it? I already had a problem with coolant escaping by the base on the weber and I don't seem to be losing Any more fluid. The webber was not brand new but running. It was just a rebuild as any other carb

    I haven't changed them yet. The one in the engine bay looks ok as for the other idk. It runs like a Kenyan as long as I'm not going 40+

    We recently put a webber on my brat and got all vacuums plugged and such. Webber was re jetted and rebuilt specifically for the brat. Problem is when I get to about 40mph it starts acting like its starving for gas. We've messed with the mixture screw and it doesn't make a difference for the main issue. Any ideas?

    i got a practically brand new carb off a 87 or 86 loyal wagon for my 86 brat with a ea81. they were almost identical except the mounting bracket.. is there an adaptor i could use? Id really like to use this carb because its literally shiny on the inside its so new. please let me know if there is any way. if not ill be selling it. id prefer to use it myself though.. i can email pics of the new carb i dont wanna mess with adding them on here.
