  1. Its not the timing belts I didn't put the covers on so I can see them, my coolant level is low from bein a kid thinking the coolant lines going to the heater doesn't need hose clamps lol they sure showed me,
  2. If you still haven't found out how to do it by tommorrow ill ask my dad I have helped him do them but haven't totally done one by my self,
  3. I'm pretty sure they do interchange but I know that if you have a solid rotor vers a rotor with cooling fins you'll need the caliper that had the cooling fins
  4. Yeah, when I bought my clutch for my ea82 they kept asking if I need a 7 and 7/8ths or a 8 and 7/8ths idk why even after I said it was 4wd
  5. My 1979 subaru wagon doesn't have the odd lug size I put ea81 white spoke stock rims on it the only problem I had was they're wider so I had to use wheel spacers. That and I converted mine to run off propane, I love my 79 goes any where in the snow
  6. No it wasn't in gear, I soaked it in pb blaster and was contemplating pushing it down the road and trying to 'bump' the pistons loose, but then someone that is uncreditable told me ththat the flywheel bolts or pressure plate bults could of backed out, idk wat to do, I have my old motor in need of head gasket, and I was thinking about swapping from spfi to my pull and save webber =) haha one of by better finds there.
  7. I have a lifted subaru three door had a blown head gasket so I pulled the motor and put my spare ea82 in it, I also replaced the clutch and pressure plate. I took it for a test drive and it just died. I tried restarting it and I can hear the starter trying to turn the flywheel but can't, I tryed and it turned over a little bit, I tried turning the crank by hand but won't budge and I tried turning the opposite way but it just loosins the crank bolt, so my question is could I have a stuck piston, or could it be cause by something binding it up in the bellhousing? Any help would be apreciated, thanks Quintan
  8. I went and got a trouble light off a jeep cherokee that is on a reel has like maybe 10 feet of wire, I was going to mount it in the engine compartment and put a switch on the dash
  9. I know this might not be practical cuz I hit a curb at 35mph and didn't cause anything but could a bent trailing arm cause a miss alignment like this?
  10. There you go, I know carbed vehicles are easier to put a hho generators on, I was going to build one but I haven't had the time to mess with different variables to see wat got the most mpg increase. How much increase do you believe a subaru will get with hho?
  11. Wen you uae a hho generater on fuel injection you need to do something to the o2 sensor I forgot wat it is, but I know if you use hho it burns cleaner and the o2 sensor richens the mix so its lucky if you see any increase at all, I have a friend that made a hho generator but I didn't really trust his skills at wat he knows. Something about pumping water into my intake doesn't sound good, the best thing like I said before would be a vapor carb, if anyone wants ill dig up my books and post some plans on how to build them, some claim 100 mpg to 200
  12. If it is a carburated subaru you could make a vapor carb
  13. I live in spokane valley close to the idaho border I would like to join a local group
