im in the medford area of oregon, i think ill be going back to the jy in a few days to look under the knee support to find that apc thing. do i need all od the wiring also?

yeah i found out where the apc box is, its under the knee plate on the drivers side, its not under the seat till 88, thanks for the help anyways, lol looks like i get to have some more fun tomorrow.

i checked under the seat and found 2 black boxes that have some sort of plug with like 5 wires going to each one. in the pics the object on the right is the apc? the one on the left is the the boost thing that hooks into the turbo via vaccuum line from the top of the rad, i found the blue thing under the intake, do i need to take out the whole thing or just the plug part? and i can't quite get under the thing thats under the steering column, is that really far up in there? and will i need all the wire that go to this? thanks a tons guys

i want to take them off bacause the ones currently on there are cracking, i found an xt in the jy that has crappy seats but good headrests, i was going to swap them out

is there a way to remove the headrest from the seats on an xt ? if there is how do i get them off?

where is the boost controller found on the saab? i found a saab 9000s turbo in the junk yard and already have the intercooler off of it.

welcome aboard, i have an 85 xt turbo, and yes they do get in the upper 30's mpg, i get around 30 ish cause i do drive a little faster. my dad says he was getting 40 but who knows. if the turbo isn't spooling up all the time its does really well on gas mileage.

what time are you doing it at? i live in gold hill, if you need a hand i could see what i could do for you. im not like a great mechanic but i can follow dirrections pretty well

hey could you try to photochop a 3door rx hatch onto a xt, im kinda curious on what that would look like

the tranny is on my xt turbo, ea 82t tranny. only one of the wires in the wire set has rusted or was broken at the switch, i just need a rough diagram on how the switch is, it looks a little funny when i have to pull my car onto a curb to see it. i will jack it up and fix it when i can see what i need to do to it.

does anyone have any pics or diagrams of the back up light switch where its bolts in the the tranny? i have one wire one it and the other is just hanging there. i know where the switch is i can see it i just can't quite find where the other wire hooks in, any helpo would be greatly apreciated.

check over on agate rd and antelope road in white city, there is a salvage yard there that has a 10 or so subarus. also there is a pick and pull on vilas.

my ecs light came on my 85 xt all i did was change the fuel filter and it went away for the most part. come back when i put crappy gas in it.

i need a little help with my xt coupe. there is a few vibrations that i am not sure where they are coming from. i may need some one to drive my car with me to enlighten me a little. any help would be apreciated. thank you

Hi, my name is tyson and i have a problem. i have a 1985 subaru xt turbo fwd and this car has been in the family for about 6 years. love the car to death. my sister has just bought a 85 celica and my dad says it gets up a little faster that the xt. lol what do i need to do to change this? keep in mind i am a poor college student. i am having problems gettign on xt6.net so i thought i would come here.
