Umm when we wired in the twelve volt outlet we did on off the igntion switch and now when its on accs the parking lights come on even though the switch is off..so strange

Ever since i got my brat i've been wanting todo some reall 4 wheeling in it i just havnt found a place or people to go with be nice if we could go like later feb or early march cuz i should have some money saved up to pay for gas and ect any body wanna set up a place to meet or something around this time or what??

I thought it was kinda cool but strange for subaru as seeing how it was only rear wheel drive..but im sure in a couple years it'll be better yet or no more

well any ideas how to get more heat cuz on full blast it takes for ever for the inside to warm up to a comfy temp where im not shivering..plus its harder then hell to keep it defogged

What would the reverse orientation do to get more heat?....i have an 81 brat and even on full blast i dont get that much heat

Installed the center consol with the twelve volt outlet that goes below the controls for the heater in my brat yesterday..i'll post pics tomorrow

The oil looks fine no signs of coolant in it and i'm very sure it's being filled properly and there's no smoke or smell to tell you of..The only tall tail sign that there's no coolant is my car runs hotter

I have an 81 brat with ea81 engine only upgrade is the weber carb and for some strange reason when i spend a couple miles pushing it like shifting around 4 5 thousand rpms and gunning it....mainly when im going off road...i'll notice it running hotter then normal and when i go to check the coolant level the raiditor (yes i know i can't spell) well be dry as a bone yet there are no leaks anywhere in the block or hoses...only thing i can think of is im burning it but why would it only be in the higher revs?

Put a car alarm in my 81 brat today now my car is all alarmed

my "stereo" on full blast isn't even close to being louder then my exhaust specaily when you get past 2500 at full throttle....i think i get hearing damage everyday lol....and when i say "stereo" i mean my zune hd hooked up to a amp and a couple six inch speakers behind the drivers seat and the passengers seat..not a whole lot of room in a first gen brat

So what all has to be done to drop out the stock 4speed d/r tranny and pop in a newer 5sp d/r tranny cuz i really wanna do this to my brat and i don't wan't to be surprised when i am able to do this

well this is the top of a hill in the area i went 4wheeling it was a cool view

first time replacing the clutch cable in my brat cuz it snapped toke about 15 mins the hardest part was getting on the clutch pedal:D

ya when i was about 13 and had my lil 65cc dirt bike i was out at jones beach in claskitneigh..i can't spell the towns name right... anyways when i was up there i didn't have the OHV tag on my dirt bike and the sheriff came by so my dad told me to go ride somewhere out of view..lol i thought this was funny
