  7. Just got my Subie Wagon from Idaho to Houston. It was about 60 cents per mile using Roadrunner Transport. I used them several times from the NW to Houston. They have always been good to do business with. I would place the order 10 -14 days before the scheduled pick up.
  8. Great advice GD. This one would be for learning to drive on the the beach. I have a 90 Mercury wagon, but I am not sure if it would also be compatible with a teenager. It's a little bit fast. It has some goodies in it. Not grandmas car anymore. We're in no big rush to jump in, shes 15 and practicing in parking lots in a mini van. THANK YOU ALL

  10. Hi I'm looking for a gen 2 4x4 vehicle for a first time driver so it must be an auto trans. Are 2wd and 4wd transmissions the same? Any peculiar quirks with an auto behind a 4x4? Are they reliable? Any other comments are helpful. Thank you, Mike
  11. Sorry to post here. I tried to message GD but I kept getting an error message. This is for General Disorder. Hi GD, I bought the 84 wagon from Michael ...suba9792 a couple of years ago. You did an incredible job on it. Can I askif you know the bolt pattern of the wheels on it? Also any advice for changing the ignition switch out? I have a replacement from a 2 wheel drive wagon. Anything else and any history you could tell me would be great. Any advice on troubleshooting the windows? Whenever you get time. Thank you for an awesome build. Mike
  12. Hi, What would be a good tire size for 15 inch pugeot steelies? Max size without cutting? This would be on a NON-lifted 86 Brat or 84 NON-lifted wagon. What is a good type of tire for rolling on beach sand? Thank you, Mike
  13. I have a set of Pug 15 inch steelies, how tall of a tire can I put on? Using on a stock 86 Brat.

  15. Hi, Will an ignition switch from an 84 Brat fit an 84 Wagon? Is it a simple plug in and start? I want to make sure the connectors are the same. I found a used one for $69.00, but that seems a little high. Are there any after market switches that will work? Thank you, Mike
  16. What years and body styles interchange for a DR 5 speed transmission? Will the 5 speed DR interchange easily between the models? I know this question has been beat to death, What years and parts interchange between the 2 Gen Brats, Wagons, Hatches and Coupes? I'm mostly interested in the sheet metal and exterior interchange. Thank you, Mike
  17. Thank you and very good advice. I always hate throwing away bed frames cause the metal looks so useful.
