My Subaru specialist recommended I get a two-row so I can crank my AC as much as I want. My car isn't even a turbo, but the extra $30 was well worth it I think. Runnin' cool.

I read somewhere that 98% of the time its the EGR system. Just like mine.

If I get a SuperStock coil should I open up the gap a bit to .045-.050, or just leave it alone. Has anyone experimented with it?

I have the same thing happening in my 87 GL, and my mechanic already told me my ball joints were bad. Maybe thats it. Mine also clunks when you first drop the clutch in reverse. I think my right axle is bad also.:cornfuzz:

Damn, 1stSubaruParts.com doesn't seem to have the solenoid, only the valve. I'm already using the black tape fix, but when it comes time to smog her I'm gonna need a new one. Is it the same solenoid on both of my cars?

Do I have to replace the EGR valve or can it be cleaned? Do my 2 cars have the same valve or not? Do I have to get it from Subaru or does someone else make them? Any help would be appreciated.

That sounds pretty bad Ratty2. Definitely not worth my time. Which re-man did you get from Schuck's? A1 Cardone , CCT, or the Beck/Arnley? I don't think anyone outside of Canada carries Mevotech from what I gather. Anyone know?
