Ill see what can be done about the A/C. If nothing than Ill live without it. Let me know when or how soon you think you can get it all up and running. Maybe in another month or so Ill plan a trip to Orlando and check her out. Keep me posted how and when you want to do this. Tommy...

Thanks but allready have a round trip ticket and if you had a Gen1 brat:slobber: well than maybe we can get serious about me taking one off your hands. Hey Subyluvr2212, Whenever your ready please give me a shout. I would take your 79 wagon off your hands for you and at least it will stay here in FL until your ready to take it back and help me find and or fix a Gen1 Brat. Im not mechanically inclined so I might need your services in helping me bring one back to life if thats the case and most importantly if thats OK with you.

If you dont mean to than dont be!!! Ive been patient but its fustrating sometimes cuase I see such great deals noware near close to me. Ive gave out two great deals on both of my brats to board members b4 I moved back to FL. Ive been looking the best I know how but Im asking for help just incase someone on this board might have some inside info and a heart on a good deal close to me. Im in no rush but I do miss having one. I appreciate any help and I might ask for alot but its all in context of what I would like compared on what i might get. Im open to any ideas, suggestions or leads to finding something or helping someone with thier dilema. So dont think Im asking for the world. Im just asking to find a decent Gen 1 70s subie, brat prefered but wagon will do.- It's gonna be really hard to do this...
Well somebdy please give me the hookup. I want information, information!! But seriously anyone please help me get a Brat. I dont really want to pay shipping so anything close by I can pickup with the help of a friend of mine. Please give me any info on the Brats that you know of close to me. Thanks.......- It's gonna be really hard to do this...
You can always buy her back from me down the line possibly especially becuase I really want a Gen1 Brat and Im not that far from you. Heres a deal. I get it. In the mean time we both keep an I out for a good shape(no rust) Gen 1 Brat and help me with fixing her up(the brat) and you can get your wagon back. That will take care of something that we both really want. In the mean time you get your car and make your Gparents happy and I have a neat 70s subaru wagon to enjoy until a brat comes my way. What do you think of that plan?????- It's gonna be really hard to do this...
Do you have pics of the inside?? Front and back seats and rear cargo space. Just curious to see what kind of work will be needed to get it looking good. Thanks...- It's gonna be really hard to do this...
What would you ask for it once its all up and running?? Call me so we can talk some more. Thanks, Tommy...- It's gonna be really hard to do this...
How is the interior looking?? Blue in color or blue and black??. Dosent have A/C stuff on? Working or not?? If I get it in good running condition, I will try to restore her to original as possible. U can come visit her anytime as well.- It's gonna be really hard to do this...
Oh yeah... how are the floor boards.? Where is it rusted thru or not? Is it only what I see in pics or is there more hidden??- It's gonna be really hard to do this...
Im not that all mechanically inclined. I would have to pay to get it going which will cost a bit. If you want to get it all up and running and then give me a price, then we can make a deal. Like I said in my first post I really want a gen1 brat, but I do like the wagons as well.- It's gonna be really hard to do this...
Im a jackass. got too excited. I thought it was a 79 brat. Im still interested in buying it if the price is right. Tommy....- It's gonna be really hard to do this...
I want it!! I want it!! I want it!! The 79 Brat. Im in WPB, FL and I will be able to get it off your hands quickley. PLEASE tell me all the details. Ive been looking and looking but no luck since Ive moved back here. Everything I see is always too far(Oregon or Washington). Please I have the $ and ways to transfer it. As long as it runs good and has very minimal rust, Im your buyer!!!!!!! Please give me all the details and pics. Email is tbag1331@yahoo.com and phone is 561-531-1570. Thanks, Tommy...- Might have found an 80 brat Finaly!? Have ?'s
Well it has tons of good parts on it. I can sell parts and make my $300 plus back or if I find a better more rust free brat, I will have other good parts from this brat to use too. So It may not be all that bad of a buy. Im still debating and thanks for all your help and opinions. Tommy...- Might have found an 80 brat Finaly!? Have ?'s
I will be towing. Yes the brats originally came with a black thin carpet like material in the bed floor area. I had one in my last brat that was fairly mint. I kick myself everytime I think of not keeping her. I would like to fix it up decent and use it for a fun second car for recreational type stuff. I would like it to look and run good but it doesnt have to be 100% perfect. Yes I will be getting more pics soon of the bad spots I hope. I cant load the pics here because the file is to big. Im not sure how to scale it down.- Might have found an 80 brat Finaly!? Have ?'s
Found one (I think) and its about a 8 hr drive to get there and another 8 to get back. Runs ok, been sitting so it needs brakes redone. Has some rust but hard to tell from the pics he sent. it looks good in the pics. Said theres little rust on tailgate. Rockers and floorboard have been patched up but he said there sturdy. He said the crossmember on the passenger side was rusted thru but he has another crossmember to give to replace it. What kind of work will that might take?? Is it worth it or is that a serious problem. He has drivin it in the yard only like this. Has everything on it except the carpet in the bed. Has title and extra parts. hes wants $300 for it. Any suggestions or warnings?? Thanks!!!!- Thanks Mav !!
Well there it goes, my hope for a gen 1 style subie. Im sure shes in good hands. Would of love to have her......- Front struts Questions
There are some on ebay. Check there. Sorry no link. Good luck..- Hood Cable
I used a bass guitar string on mine when that happen. I was able to go thru the grill and thru the latch and then out of the grill again. Tied the string together and yanked on it to pop it loose. Keep the string in there as my pop open mechanism till I replaced the cable. Just a thought if you play guitar or no someone who does. Good luck.- some pics of the Brat I might get
BTW love the ATHF pic by your site name. Great show. Got to love Carl. Peace... Post more pics when you can. Help me with my gen1 craving.- some pics of the Brat I might get
I would kill for a gen 1 Brat like that. It seems in your part of the world theyre practically giving them away. Im watching a gen2 Brat in FL on ebay now but I would rather have a gen1 Brat. Good Luck..... - It's gonna be really hard to do this...
