1978 Brat. Bought this a few yaers ago with blown head gasket for $400 + shipping for $380. Fixed that and resealed most of the engine with help from someone from the board. Then had to make a big move and sold it to Skip for $600. Miss her badly but shes in great hands with Skip that now has her in the body shop. She will be his pride and joy Gen1 Brat. Im glad your going with the pearl silver. Thats what I was going to paint her after I got off my paint her black kick. Im sure you notice the front valance is from a DL brat, dosent look bad though, no biggie. If I ever get out that way maybe Ill visit and you can let me take her for a spin!? Good luck with everything. Im still looking for a brat myself its been too long but theres no Gen 1s around FL. Might have to ship now that gas got cheaper but $ is kinda tight so the future dosent look good.

Yes caught it yesterday. Great commercial. Ive been given up lately on ever finding a Gen 1 brat for myself again but after seeing the commercial it sparks me up a bit to keep looking. Really though, Ive had zero luck in finding a brat unless I want to pay to ship. Dont have that kind of $$$ and the way the economy is, its getting harder by the day.:-\
