I wondered if you could help me out. My 96 outback started flashing the at temp. light 16 times every time at startup. there is no sign of abnormal driving. It doesn't hop on sharp turns in either direction, shifts great, and the fluid is good. To pull the codes, do I connect the two diagnostic wires together and ground out pin #5 to any old ground? And Is the connector black and the two diagnostic wires green plugs? thanks a bunch!
