  2. im actually just across the border in canada. I couldn't find my area on here and lynden was closest. At our pick n pull there is next to nothing, and the second any soobies come in they get raped instantly.
  3. very likely blown head gasket... possible cracked head too.. whatever it is, doing an engine swap like you plan should fix that problem. at least in my head

  5. I was at the wrecker today getting a fuel pump, and the loyale there had an EA82T ... Mines a standard EA82. Say I wanted to put the turbo on there, because I would love a little more pop. Is it really as easy as it looks? or is there more to it that I am missing?
  6. most of the stuff I buy for mine I buy off amazon - usually best prices around and it comes right to my door. Also I'd just keep the rims as is, maybe spray paint em black. no need for hubcaps in my opinion
  7. Definitely gotta get some roof racks and a light bar across front bumper ... or at least a couple of 6" round spot/floods
  8. Based on what I read, this is all good news. I would suggest as well a new rad cap. If the rad isn't pressurizing the coolant will boil at normal operating temp. (Pressure keeps coolant from boiling). If you have a rad cap tester available can always try that instead of buying a new one. Most auto shops will also test it for free.
  9. To me the relay makes most sense, based on how relays work. Just thinking out loud here. I am going to put some testers on the connectors tomorrow and see whats getting power and whats not. If I find the culprit I'll be sure to post it on the board.

  11. Could someone point me in the direction as to where this is? I got it from the other discussion . I stuck my head under the drivers side and located the ECU, but I do not know where these relays are. "The fuel pump relay is actually above the ecu next to the ignition relay on a Loyale, not in the bank of four relays above the fuse box. Someone posted a photo of the pair here a couple weeks ago.   12. Hey thanks for the replies. Dee, I appreciate the link, it has given me some ideas, but it is a little different than my problem. wagon, I have taken off the fuel lines right before the filter, so I can see when the fuel pump is actually cranking out fuel. This is how I discovered that the fuel will come randomly when I turn the ignition to ON, but it happens very rarely. I'm completely stumped. It is possible that both pumps are doing the same thing? I truly hope its not the ECU
  13. Hey guys, I'm hoping someone here has had this same problem and can give me a solution. My soobie is getting no fuel to engine. I've checked fuses, went to the auto wrecker and pulled another fuel pump, swapped the fuel pump, and the exact same thing happens. From time to time when I turn the engine to the ON position however, the fuel pump works for a short period of time (<5 seconds). This is happening on both fuel pumps. Does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  14. Hey guys. Anyone know of a website that I can order a muffler delete for my suby? (94 loyale). The old muffler rotted out and she sounds way nicer open so I want to keep it that way.

  16. Thank you I am making sure not to do that. You'd think it would I know. This is the closest I've gotten it. Ball joint Is all the way bent and it's sitting on lower control arm about 1/4 inch from going in
  17. (I'm still doing this today because I left it yesterday to go on a nice motorcycle ride as the weather here was too gorgeous not to)
  18. I ended up just buying a tie rod end puller and it worked awesome, popped it right out... forgot to leave castle nut on end so I had a nice BANG to wake me up. However, now that its off, any tips as to how to have the steering wheel turned or what to pry to get the new one in? I can't seem to get the hub and the lower control arm to line up properly to insert the new ball joint. I've tried jacking up the hub, but that just pulls it farther away from the lower control arm, so that isn't working. P.S. I appreciate the help you guys have given me so far.
  19. So far everything has been smooth. Took out pinch bolt too early Though before I got lower control arm off of ball joint so now I gotta figure out a way to be able to pry that off. Unless I put it back in slot put pinch bolt back in and pry off ?
  20. Hi guys, I just bought this car recently, and I haven't jacked it up yet to check to see if it is a bolt on ball joint or if i need to go buy/rent a ball joint press. If someone could tell me so I can just go get the press before I start that would be much appreciated. Thanks!

  22. Thanks! My main concern is whether or not the stick shifter will go in the same slot as where the auto shifter sits, everything else looks great
