Under the hood of the old Dodge....

I love the old Dodge and it does get 18 to 19 mpg going to and from work. It even got 17 mpg pulling the one subie on a Uhaul transporter. The old Slant six could smell every hill a mile away but it did do the job. That 3/4 ton looks great.

That is the retirement plan here too. The old RV needs some interior work finished up but will be ready by the time we retire. The current toad is the Wifes 2012 Kia Sorento pulled on a dolly. The Auto roo is my daughters and the other I picked up cheap as a daily driver for the 80 mile round trip to work. It uses a lot less gas than my old Dodge.

Got a little bit of it all there....LOL I would love to get an old Brat to pull behind the RV.

I remember back in 88 when a clutch set and rear main seal for a 79 DL 4wd Wagon was cheaper from the dealer than going aftermarket.

Hello from Georgia. Been a Subaru fan for many years and a past and current Subaru owner. Currently I have 2 97 Outback Wagons. An Automatic which is currently in the process of getting new head gaskets and is my Daughters daily driver and the other which I just picked up 2 weeks ago which a 5 speed car and is now showing the early signs of the dreaded head gasket failure. I will be poking around looking for info some of which I have already seen prior to joining. It looks like a great forum with a ton of helpful information.
