  4. I'd be torn between the alloy H and the white spoke wagons. The H alloys are very unique but you can't beat the rugged iconic look of the wagon wheels. The alloys are hard to come by they may never cross your path if you decide to change
  5. Hello, my brat came equipped with a 5 speed Duel range transmission. The transmission mounting was way to half rump roast form my liking, what is the correct way or configuration to do this? Any info would be helpfull thanks

  8. Dump alcohol in the port sides, if it leaks through the valve is not sealing. In fair condition the valves hold wd40 without leaking though

  10. Hello, I need to replace the clutch fork on my 5mt duel range. The transmission is in a brat therefore I don't know the correct type or year to order the part for. I think 85 89 but I'm not positive. Thanks

  16. My factory shop manual says to use sealant when replacing the head gaskets, it says to use tri bond or equivalent, what is the equivalent? Is sealant even nessacary? Thanks

  19. If your just looking for a good reliable car, you can get something much newer for 2500. Sounds overpriced anyway it wouldn't be worth much more then 2500 in mint condition. I've been following older subaru values for years, so there is my two cents.
  20. The fact that the chime works with the key out indicates that the problem may be in the ignition switch. It seems the switch may not be turned back far enough but still releasing the key. My 01 and 83 do that intermittently. Try turning the key in the more off position if it's chiming when it's not so posed to. Removing the annoying noisemaker is also an option
