Here in Canada we call it a Province so Ontario! The guy from the paint shop called. He said 3 paint coats (orig colour) and 2 clear coats for $5000 TOPS. WIth every little tiny piece of rust cut out. And new plastic moulds and stuff like that, and door alignments, and 1 year guarantee and then he said go to crown rust proofing, and they will guarantee no rust for years.

Yup subarus are the only car i would buy, but still i must suggest u replace that battery it wont hurt u know.

No there is absolutly no rust on the frame just on the body near the wheels because of all the salt from our Canadian winters.

Well there cutting out all the run in the back, and there going to change the panels on the front fenders, and get a cut out copy of the rear. ANd i never asked how many paint layers hes putting, and if theres clear coat. But he did say hes adding rust protection.

Ya some one at subaru told me about the engine being non interference therefore the engine will not get seized if it does break. By the way if it does brake the car wont move right?

Well i finally time to get my sub painted. It the legacy 93. I has rust that needs to be cut out, on the rear around where the wheel is, and the front. And a few other spots. I brought it to a paint shop he told me $3000 tops for a paint job. Does this seem reasonable for a paint job, and cutting out run. And etc and whatever else he does? And there is quite a bit of rust in the rear especially behind the plastic stuff. Thanks, just wondering if its worth it. Might i mension im dealing Canadian currency.

Usually when my alt dies i change both the battery and then i buy a brand new alt. This way you can be safe to know that all the cells in the battery are full.

Shoot they look good but i need black or charcoal.

Wait so could a 3.0 fit in a legacy or a forest? A H6 would be much nicer and yes u are all prob thinking the fuel milage would be crap, but i doubt it, because the engine doesnt need much effort to go compared to the 2.5.

O because i see two dipsticks, so one is for the diff right, and one for tranny?

What i mean is, isnt the front differential hooked up to the tranny? and is there a plug at the bottom to change the diff fluid?

Just out of curiosity, isnt the front diff fluid from carried in the trans, and which side is diff fluid, on the tranny when looking from the front?
