  1. Ya exactly what he said overfilling can cause the problem. You might also need a new gas cap. That sometimes causes a problem.
  2. The legacy is definitly a better choice and atleast you will be buying a car that looks more modern, has a more reliable engine, and less maintenance and you get the AWD system not the little button like on the loyale, and atleast they still make the Legacy. I know your not worried about power but if you do the legacy is the best choice, and fuel economy is much much better in the legacy overall compared to the loyale. A loyale looks like a outdated car, a legacy looks like today's car. All im trying to say it GET THE LEGACY!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. They say you should do it. Funny thing my engine made a little bit of noise so i put fuel injection cleaner in and it didnt make a single noise, super smooth.
  4. I would definitly say its good but it you really want a family vehicle most people go for the forester or the tribeca, and going for a subaru was a perfect decision if your looking for a reliable well made vehicle.
  5. Well for me it was my waterpump and once i changed it not a single leak. Check near the front of the engine. And i suggest you find a better dealership.
  6. HA that explain's why i passed a stuck volvo v70 in the winter, great video.
  7. No for the back its $2000 because its rusted and the rest for $4000 and it has almost 300,000KM.
  8. You would think but i guess when people the original owner's had the car, they didn't take good care of it.
  9. Here are some pics off how far the paint job went, there just working on the rear, because i can't afford to do the entire car paint job. Here you go. They are changing the entire rear body panels with OEM subaru parts. And there are cutting out the rust. Oh and it's a 93 leg wagon(guess you can notice). By the way the work was done at vt's auto collision shop.
  10. How far is your dealer maybe you should go back before putting your nose in there.
  11. Ya just because all 4 wheels are powered doesn't mean its a boat, who knows maybe in a few weeks it will dry out and go VRRRMM!! and it will work. Good luck man!
  12. I think it was just canadian models because my 1993 legacy wagon doesn't have any either when everyone claims in US that they had them on the L model.
  13. I will post some pics after they give me back the car. Been 2 weeks now:(
  14. Ya i did hear alot about this crank sensor, but if it was cracked or any other sensors werent working it would show check engine light right, and would run weird.
  15. Yup they cut out the rust completly thick rust and did 4 paint coats and 3 clear coats replaced all plastic etc. Cars looks exactly like new. ANd sanded. Also im talking Canadian currrency which isn't worth as much as USA currency:grin:
  16. O ya i had my cat replaced and water pump. And it still meets emisions with no issues at all. But i think im going to bleed the brake fluid when i hit the brakes feels like a marshmellow. Ya just wanted to be sure i didnt need to change anything or clean anything. Thanks.
  17. O just wondering because i get worried if my sub will ever get caught in a flood as it has happened here, but only went 12 inches. How tight are these seals though i understand its not a boat though.
  18. Well just out of curiosity, the only thing i have dont with my 1993 Legacy wagon non turbo was oil changes, and a new tranny, and timing belts but not a single sensor! Is this acually normal i hear all these things about blah this sensor and that. The car runs perfectly but i was wondering is there anything i should really change to be safe. ANd the seals on the engine were probably changed while doing timing im sure of. Thanks!
