I have a 93 legacy which has 283,000km and original engine still runs like a champ, and doesnt burn nor leak any oil. And all we did was change the timing belt and do regular oil changes

Welcome, well if ur doing headgaskets urself, i believe u need to remove the engine right? So u need proper tools so u can remove the engine and u need to torque bolts correctly, stuff like that. But im sure u already know that. ANd while the engine is out, change the timing belt, and other seals. Just to make it run like a champ.

I think it should be ok, how much does the boat weigh? And does the trailer have two axles or one?

That sucks, but my locks did the same thing so i just sprayed some lubricant in the hold for ignition and the drive and passenger door, now there are no problems.

Well we got brand new panels, and as long as the frame isnt rusting and it's being rust proof it shall live on.

lol, i should have, these people who did just the rust work and painted it seemed to have make like marks as if dust were on the metal while they painted it, and i see little white dots all over my rear door, on the inside and OUT!! im calling the guy, not 100 percent satified with service after paying 2800!!! on a car worth 2000!!!

If it isnt running bad, its usually just a airleak, usually caused from a old gas cap.

Your all killing me. Lol 5000 for a 00 car, i have a 93 legacy that i have spent 10,000 on with about the same milage!!

Seems like 1 million, well i have spend 3000, plus 2000 because off dumasses at transmission shop who screwed up my abs sensor and a bunch of other crap, and 600 in tires, and 2800 yesterday for a rust fix up, now another 2000 and it is a brand new car, with a 300,000km engine. And these prices at Canadian and with tax, without tax its not that bad.

Ok it's sitting in my driveway now after paying $2800 with tax :-\. But its looks 999999999999999999999x better when before with rust holes and etc. And now they added a silver strip. I just woke up, but in another oh, 1 hour ill take some pics. Just to bad i cant show the before pics off the car. But ill do some thing with paintshop. Looks like a new car almost, just need to paint the rest:mad:. Well the main thing is the rust is all gone, no big rust holes or nothing. And we learned the hard way by not ever rust proofing the vehicle.

Well it seems like ur solenoid is ok, so ya check the tires(pressure,size, wear) and then do a tranny flush. But its still a gamble because the solenoid can fail.

It flipped and barely any damage eh? That seems cool!! It would have been good to see a video. Like something a stunt man would do.

OK so i saw the car, spent 2000 but now i need to paint the rest off the car which doesnt have rust so its real simple but i need to save up. That rear fender he did looks perfect, and he paint the mould silver when it was suppost to be black but its looks way better, ill show pics on monday.

I remember with my 93 leg they changed a manifold or something on the engine causing a airleak.

I suggest u talk to the dealer, its suppost to be red, and they will probably change it for you free. Well they will for free its under warrenty.

Im guessing you have a automatic correct? Do you hear like a bang noise when going up the hill like its trieing to engage the rear wheels? Welcome.

Ok im back, and the shop called, lol im broke. They said new price $2500CDN!!!! So anyway they said they did 7 coats of paint:eek:!! why? they said it didnt blend(wtf) so they charged me 2500 and the car isnt even fully painted!!!! AWWW !! Only the rear quaters are painted and thats all. And they were replaced. Well im going to pick it up tommorow, we will see how she looks and ill get a pic of 7 coats of paint:eek: and remember:headbang:

Well they need to be off by 1/2 inch i believe, but the volvo AWD system sucks it doesnt even kick in while going up a hill.

I see well isnt she a lucky gurl. Anyway, well i really suggest u force this warrenty thing really i do. Somehow like go there with a gun i dont know(dont go there with a gun) or small claims court still might do the trick probably on cost $50 anyway and it might save you 3000 so. Ya. But really you should push this shop to doing the job out off warenty, and 4500 is alot to spend. I mean i have spent $3000CDN on just a transmission, and it wasn't even brand new, just a partial rebuild.
