  1. That sucks. I like those indicator's for each door though. It very good to know which one is open especially for people with kids.
  2. Ok, i think i was looking at the right thing. I took off the cover on the engine. And i say a small pipe, pulled it off. THen i got a wrench took off the piece, and i shook it, and it shook good. Just looked gummed up. So i wd-40ed it ,and it now looks nice and clean. And the valve seems to work i guess if i can shake it and it bouces the insides. So i reinstalled it, and started her upp. Ran good as always. Might be better. But the fumes seemed to smell a little less. Next i need to grab some sea foam.
  3. Wow didnt know that changed in 94 are you sure? but ya those little things are nice. And crome/metal door handles i love. I hate cheap plasitc door handles. And this car has never broken down, whether it was 2 feet off snow in -40 or 39C plus in a flood, she kept going. Never seen a tow truck and never will!! the 2.2l engine will live forever!
  4. Well. In that part. I have enough room in the back. But if ur wife isn't tall, she could probably move up the front seat a little bit, and there is plenty.
  5. Definitly, i have a 93 legacy and it kicks rump roast. high millage, and doesnt leak nor burn oil. All i have done is change the oil and timing belt. Amazing car. ANd it flies!! And super quiet and smooth.
  6. Nope, happened with my 93 legacy, its the bushing that are worn out. But bring it to ur local dealer, and they will probably say u need a new wiper assembly, thats what mine said.
  7. Lol yes they do, and its almost like a walmart. No i dont think there is a autozone, which sucks! or is there?
  8. Where do i find this sea foam, couldn't find any at canadian tire. And it just spray it in there while the engine is running.
  9. That was my big problem. I couldn't see when it was raining. But again silverstars don't last long. I know there bright. But is there any other light bulbs that are bright, and last long? I saw these xenon's lights for 1 dollar plus shipping and they show a before and after picture. ANd it was super bright. Or even these. Are they good? http://cgi.ebay.ca/97-00-Suzuki-GSXR-600-750-H4-XENON-HID-Headlight-bulbs_W0QQitemZ250025158428QQihZ015QQcategoryZ34284QQtcZphotoQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  10. I have a 93 legacy, but the lights just don't seem like there on. I got the cool blue bulbs. But i heard they dim over time. What bulbs can you recommend that are super bright. I know off silverstar, but they only last 1 month and then i need to spend another $50. Any ideas, thanks guys.
  11. Ok thanks for your help guys, but do you think its important if its not working? Does it control the air bag, the sensors, etc?
  12. I totally disagree, it can still rust any vehicle, it just depends if the paint gets chipped, or if salt is sitting, or if there is cancer in the metal. My dad has a 2004 nissan titan and it already has rust. 2 years and its rusting.
  13. You think i really need it though, i mean the car emits no fumes or smoke and it drive superb.
  14. I have a 93 leg with 2.2l, and i was wondering if it has a PCV valve? What does it do, burn unburnt fuel i believe, and if i do have it do i need to change it? Thanks guys.
  15. When the door is open it chimes with the key in, but should it beep with the door shut and the seat belt off? Im going to check the wiring tommorow, and do u think it is important.
  16. Back in the day when our subaru was 8 years old(93 legacy wagon) everytime you would turn on the car and you wouldn't where a seat belt a little light would be on. WHen the car was about 10-11 years old it stopped working. Now the car is 13 years old and all the dash lights were changed, and every light seems to work, except that seatbelt light. IS that a bad thing? Is this a wiring issue? Will my airbag works? And the airbag light comes on then turns off. Any ideas, thanks guys!
  17. Nice, i see you have the beige interior instead off black. Looks pretty good. I have black though and love it.
  18. Well funny thing, the steering rack was replaced, but it wasn't to noticable. I will definitly check the bushing, Where else could there be some play? Is there a bolt or something in the linkage?
  19. Well thanks for the suggestion, and i was thinking about the rear wiper, where the relay is near the right strut. Think the guage off wire is heavy enough to run 5-10A, but can i just tap into the wire? And the extension cord to the back, i do often, but i preffer everything built in, looks more clean. Now the rear window defroster. I dont really use it, but i guess i would have to hit the switch in order for the 12v plugs to work, but you think the wire can hold 5-10A.
  20. Ok ill check them out tommorow(meaning today this evening). Thanks nipper.
  21. wow already paint fading issues eh? You ever wax ur car? It's really a good thing. I got a 1993 legacy the original paint was never waxed and the paint is still there and didnt fade at all. But green might be different from silver.
  22. In the back off my 93 legacy wagon there is no cigarette lighter. Would it be possible to get 12v from a wire back there and use it as a plug. Because sometimes i have my rc cars in the back and i want them to charge. Any ideas, without the car going on fire?
