I don't think they are interchangeable since the legacy weighs up to 500 lbs. more than the impreza. Also there is a ride height difference between models (i.e. the legacy outback rides much higher and softer than the STi) I don't know if this is a spring issue or a strut issue. I could be completely wrong on this but I'm just offering my opinion.

My speedo is 5 mph fast no matter what speed I am going, I checked it with GPS and no matter if i was going 15 or 60 it always read 5 mph fast. I even changed tire size when I put new tires on it and it didn't change, I haven't really looked into why it is off, I have just been subtracting. One benefit I found is that when other people drive my car they are going slower than they think. At least I know i'm not the only one with the problem now.

The EPA tests in controlled conditions with the A/C off and the ambient air temperature between 68-86 degrees F. plus the car has no weight, and there is no elevation change in the test. If you just happen to encounter any difference in your daily drive your mileage will be diffrent, usually worse. more info here www.fueleconomy.gov

I take my car to Firestone to get it aligned. They usually seem to do pretty well with the alignment, some stores are better than others. The main reason I go there is they have some lifetime alignment plan dealie where you pay $120 or so and you get lifetime alignments at no charge after that. Consdering the amount they charge for each one, it basically paid for itself now. I don't know if it was a limited time offer or what, but if you have a reputable Firestone shop in your area it might be worth looking into. So far i haven't had any unusual wear problems and my tires (Khumo Ecsta HP4) have about 30,000 miles on them.

You are suppossed to empty the bottle out when you do stop and than wash it out and recycle it. Throwing plastic bottles out the window empty or not is just wrong. Just so you don't think that recycling the bottles after they have been used is disgusting, urine is sterile when it leaves the body.

Gatorade or Powerade are good beverage choices, they keep you hydrated better than soft drinks like cola or Mt. Dew, plus they have a wide top for ease of use when you don't want to stop to use the facilities. Have Fun
