    If you want to paint it, just do the prep work really well for the paint to last longer.

    I know all Legacy and Baja hoods of the same generation will fit.

    I know readylift has lift kits for the Forester's. Try to contact them if they have one for your 2.5i Touring.

    Had a similar problem with my previous Forester. The IAC was the culprit.

    Have you tried checking the front diff's fluid level?
