  1. Thank you. Iโ€™ll get the tank to almost empty and pull the hose and see how Iโ€™m looking. Does anyone know the inner diameter of the hose? THANK YOU for the part number. Is there anywhere that stocks it anymore? Otherwise Iโ€™m looking at getting a general fuel rated hose and making it fit. How would YOU fix/replace it?
  2. Hello everyone! After a long drive I smelled fuel and found the tube close to the exhaust pipe wet with fuel. Freaked me out as fuel is scary, the hose looks veryโ€ฆ specific.. but also could be some type of coolant style. It looks like a radiator hose and looks to go from the bottom of the metal filler neck and travel to the tank. Anyone know if I can get a fuel rated coolant hose that will work for this or is there a better solution? See my glorious photo. And thank you
  3. Itโ€™s a dream to pile into my โ€˜81 B.R.A.T. and trek slowly at 55mph all the way to this. That would be SO cool. Or I get rich and get a flatbed trailer and tow it there with my wilderness.
  4. My โ€˜81 dropping by to get parts for my โ€˜23
  5. DUDE! This is awesome!! What model roof rack was it and did you have to get any special fittings to get it to attach to the roof? Looks SWEET!!!
  6. I forgot to update this post, but about 3 weeks ago I removed the bolts holding the glass and rocked it out of place and was able to thread the nut onto the rod and got the door back together. THANK YOU EVERYONE for your help! What a thing!
  7. Hello USMB! Over the years you guys have given me so much. I thought I would offer to give a little something back! I have stacks of early 80s manuals and diagrams from the Subaru factory service manuals. As well as entire dealership part guides for 1980 1981 in 1982. Possibly some 1979. If you need a diagram, if you need a part number, if I can find it in my books Iโ€™ll get it for you! Just want to help like everyone else has helped me
  8. Thank you! This job is stressing me out. I pull engines, I donโ€™t do window regulators.... and headliners/weatherstripping. *shudder*
  9. Can I lower the regulator without the glass attached? Will it undo anything or unalign anything?
  10. Thank you my friend! This is my plan! I appreciate your response. Thank you
  11. Per the description below, I need to remove the front door glass. How the heck do I do that???
  12. Went to open my door, and the door handle just moved freely like it wasnโ€™t connected to anything. Found out the little rod had broken itโ€™s nut off of the bottom and the mechanism kind of fell apart. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the rod back into the little hole. I see how it works. I have the doorhandle in my hand and the rod in my hand but I can not physically position my hand into the spot I need to to drop the plastic piece into the hole it needs to go into. Something else needs to come apart or something else needs to go together in a specific way for this to work. And I donโ€™t know what that is. Does the window need to come out? Does the latch need to be disconnected? Has anyone replace their doorhandles and can tell me how to disassemble/reassemble this part? I am at my wits end. My shredded hand thanks you.
