Coming up with a catalyst below efficiency code and was thinking of starting out with new o2 sensors before I replace the cat. Does anyone know how many wire the o2 sensors are offhand?

You could try testing them with an electrical gauge before buying new ones.

Wherever you're buying them from will know.

 

You can do some searching here. For one of them folks have had luck with the generic ones, for the other not so much luck.

 

I usually have used ones. And if none of them work I go new OEM and am done with it. My soldering skills are a bit challanged. And the last thing I wanna be doing is playing with expensive cats because I'm not getting the correct info from an O2 sensor.

 

But that's me.

If you just want rid of the code, then install a spark plug non-fouler between the second O2 and the cat. Your cat is probably bad.

Grab some from a junkyard. Most U pull its only want like $5 for an O2 sensor.
