Does anyone know of a shop to redrill wheels

Featured Replies

Any of you guys know of a shop in the puget sound area that can redrill some toyota wheels with the tires still on them. My back has been giving me fits, and I dont want to do it by hand.

Thanks

Mike

I think you would have a heck of a time gettin someone to drill some wheels for ya........... Might want to get the neighbor kid to do it for 20 bucks it would be well worth it.....:)

One word...liability.

Maybe find a board member nearby, and bring beer. :drunk:

I would be willing to re-drill the rims....but I live in Spokane. If you make it here I wil do them for you. Would have to work out some sort of dealy-yo though.:)

What about just converting it to six lug. I have a set of drums, and im not to far from you.

I havent really researched it. It is a daily driver and I was worried about total project time and if I were to screw it up and be out of a car until I could afford a replacement part. Are the drums you have already drilled?

Thanks

mike

Yeah they are and complete swap to six lug in the rear. I had them on for a few years and then did the rear disk convertion. I drive mine mine daily about 75 round trip from Graham to Olympia and it drives just fine with 28 inch mud tires. If you are interested I could make up a set of front HUBS. The only downfall to doing this is that you loose all the 4 lug configuration.

I stand corrected.

OK, how much cost would I be looking at? I do like the look of the six lug over the 4. Im not too woried about strength. For what we do, I dont think I would break either set up.

Thanks

MIke
