March 26, 201016 yr It is my understanding that the divorced nissan transfer case is center drop for the front drive.Would it be possible to rotate it so its tilted at about a 45* angle for use in a vehicle with a left drop?

March 27, 201016 yr Author Yes I know what universal joints are.I wasn't aware that they tolerated much of an angle for very long.
March 27, 201016 yr Yes I know what universal joints are.I wasn't aware that they tolerated much of an angle for very long. depends on how much of an angle, and how long the driveshafts are. my sammy t-case is clocked pretty far for clearance and better alignment. luckily the shifter pulls out like a GM ones and is reversible, so even with the clocking, the shifter is properly positioned.
March 27, 201016 yr Author I got an 88 mitsubishi mighty max that im trying to convert to diesel.Right now it seems like the easiest option is to run the RWD diesel transmission,hooked to a divorced transfer case...
