September 14, 201015 yr I didn't know there was such a thing as uninsured motorist coverage. Guess its new. nah, its been around for a long time. I think i've had it ever since i have had my own insurance. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_insurance#Uninsured.2Funderinsured_Motorist_coverage Edited September 14, 201015 yr by xbeerd
September 14, 201015 yr Author Well I do have that, but it only covers medical. Does not cover the vehicle. It would if the I had full coverage on it. nah, its been around for a long time. September 16, 201015 yr Tom, I'm not surprised this happened to you, but it still really sucks. Just be glad that you have the ability to fix the car yourself for minimal cost. If it happened to some one with no mechanical ability, they would be truly screwed.
September 27, 201015 yr Author Trashwagon10 is now back on its own legs and does drive, but I have some extreme bearing noise. I put the car in the air on all 4s and it seems like its coming from the Passenger side Wheel hub. Keep in mind this was the side which was pushed into the curb. So I am still in able to drive the car.
September 27, 201015 yr Author friken finally this site is back! and wow it looks good~! Thanks. Got any pictures of your with the new tires/wheels? Post them in here if you'd like.
September 27, 201015 yr I don't think the summer wheels will be showing off on the car this year between gas and bills and paying the IRS it's smarter to buy my winter tires now
September 27, 201015 yr Author I hear that, I've only got $14 till next friday. This Legacy is coating me to much to rebuild and it still isn't completely fix
September 27, 201015 yr I did not get a paycheck last week because I just came back from my week off it sucked lol I need to start buying engine related parts now like my clutch and TB covers lol the bolts all cracked the plastic on the first turn.. and I gotta replace the two cam seals and the oil separator plate this engine is leaking like mad. I want to have the engine done by end of Nov along with all new struts.. by that time I should be getting a bit more hours

Well I would save your self some money and not buy the TB covers. They only make doing Timing belts take longer and of course sometimes break due to stuck bolts. I run both my Soobs coverless and am happy about it, I can check and adjust the belt whenever needed.

Besides I'm going to need a few other things like the side molding for the door and all for when I do paint the car. Only thing is I can't seem to find a part number for the spolier

September 28, 201015 yr friken got that door lock timer out.. everyone said to check the drivers side door and I said why? because everytime you slam the glove box close the doors will lock/unlock.. and sure enough as soon as I started tapping and moving the door lock timer the doors were trying to unlock and lock and it was clicking like crazy. it's a bit of a hassle to get to it however :-/ gotta watch out for crumbly foam. September 28, 201015 yr Author At least your locks work, mine are all manual for now since the GT door doesn't have the Acuator in it. Plus the harness clip doesn't have all the same prongs.
October 2, 201015 yr Author Bought a used Passenger side hub assembly today from B&M Auto for $99 supposed to get it by Tuesday. Hoping this is the bearing noise I have and not a Differential bearing. Trashwagon10 is not dead yet.
October 3, 201015 yr Author Picture updates: Heres the CB I put in a few weeks ago (Before it got hit obviusly) Pulled these Tweeters out of an Outback. Waiting on the hub.
October 3, 201015 yr I see your car has that same wire on the tranny too i thought someone did a botched up wire job. Do the tweeters improve the sound at all?
October 3, 201015 yr Author That wire is for the front O2 sensor, theres a bendable clip that holds the wire away on the transmission. And yes, the tweeters add more clairity while still have the depth of the subs. I just pocketed the tweeters from the Junkyard, Why pay when you can get them for free :-p

October 5, 201015 yr Author Trashwagon10 is back on the scene after two months...! ____________________________________________________________________ 2 Crashes, 210,000 miles and still alive.
October 6, 201015 yr Aww man!!! That sucks! Progressive better not try to lowball me, At least he has (had) insurance. Looks like it's come back together nicely though. Guessing you got a nice fat check out of it.
October 6, 201015 yr Author I got nothing outta it. Everything I bought came out of my pocket. This guy is just a douche. If i ever see him again he'll end up needing Flight For Life. Aww man!!!
