April 18, 201015 yr Picked up a 87 sedan alittle bit ago for 300. had a new carb, wasnt running right.. was finally able to get it running! [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img] Plans: 4 inch lift 15 inch pugs, if i can find them ej swap roof rack trunk rack receiver with bike rack (couple of dh bikes ) things ive already done: new cv boots up front got it running!!!! stereo installed, i can hear the radio now! rear disc brake swap (got lucky at pap) deep cycle sealed battery fixed all the rust i could find and cleaned it more than i would like to admit.

July 15, 201015 yr Author Well Ive been working alot lately, but have worked on the subie every chance I can get. I with the help of 88subi4x4 and his dad made the rear bumper from a piece of chairlift steel in his backyard. I also put some peugeots on it. I started building the lift. Pics of the bumper: Had to put a couple of bikes on my rack too, I meant that is what I built the bumper for! Next on the list: Try and finish the 5 inch lift Drill the toyota wheels I cleaned up and find some 215 75 or 65 R15's Find a Weber and get the thing running right! Little quirks like the clock and the voltage gauge has a flaky connection or something Glasspack Exhaust Skidplate and more Im sure -Jeff Edited July 15, 201015 yr by diamondjumper pictures didnt show up!

Also am trying to still dial in the weber mileage wise, and fix a few odds and ends, still need to tinker with it but it runs and drives!
September 3, 201015 yr a small note you probably already know about: you said the voltage was jumpy? sube alts have a built in voltage regulator, that could have gone bad. i just bought my wife an absolute jem of a 86 wag but had a similar issue(tach was jumping too). i put a spare alt on it tonight and it solved both problems. just a thought, nice sedan, i wanna lift both our soobs. RV
September 8, 201015 yr Author for the flaky connection, i think it has to be in the dash, when the voltage gauge doesnt work, the gas gauge doesnt work either, so im thinking a ground or something...
