Quick question, Will SVX 16" rims work on a first gen legacy?

Nope. Legacy has 5x100 and the SVX has 5x114.5 for the bolt pattern.

You can get a set of WRX 16"s for dirt cheap though and they look great.

That adapter size is pretty hard to find (I looked with no luck) and at $70+ a pair, it would be just as smart to use the correct size wheel.

What about switching the front hubs out and swapping the rear brakes to the car? Are they so different that it wouldn't work?

how about redrilling the legacy hubs so you can relocate the lug studs to the SVX/Sti05+/Tribeca pattern of wheel lug.

thanks for the replies, no I dont want them that bad, I was just looking for some cheap rims and found a svx set. I will just find some that are the right size. Thanks!
