At the Insurance Co next week there is an XT 4cyl that is rebuildable, an XT6 that is for dismantling only and an SVX that there is nothing wrong with it. The XT4 has a big hit in the front left corner. Should I bid on any of them? Will the XT6 motor fit in something else, like bolt in?

the xt6 motor will bolt onto ea81 and ea82 trannies, i would say go after it for its motor and 5lugs. 5 lugs will fit on ea82's, and will fit in my ea82 modified ea81 wagon

 

maybe get the 4cyl xt and put all the xt6 stuff in it

is the SVX AWD?

I know it's a long haul, but one of my students has a (he says) rust free 88 xt that runs well but has some problems with the tranny. Bring your tranny here, slap it in and drive home. He wants 4 or 5 hundred for it, but needs money.

We bid on the XT4 and the XT6. The XT4 is rebuildable and the XT6 is for dismantling. The XT4 has only 42000km on it. I will let all you know if anything is available.
