My name is Kenny, and I just picked up a very clean '84 GL from a nice guy in north WA.

 

Figured id say hello. Ill be snooping around here a bit.

And how long has it been since you drove in N ID?

The californians will run you off the road if you're doing less than 5 over! :-p

And yes, this thing wont win any races.... but at least most of the speed limits around here are 55 or 60mph.

 

Im originally from CA. It is a breath of fresh air to drive on the roads here. Very casual. I find this very convenient when driving a car like this little GL. Im never in a hurry, so I take my time and enjoy the trip!

 

This rig is very clean. And the more time I spend with it, the more I realize that I managed to snag a very nice vehicle.

 

My folks back in CA wanted to see some photos, so I tossed some photos on a website for them to see.

Lots of fun pictures of this clean little GL. And I intend to keep it this clean. It will remain garage kept. We already drive very little, so it will be driven only on occasional winter trips.

That is an exceptional wagon. I've always felt this model was the most bullet-proof Subaru built. Enjoy it for a long time.
