December 13, 201015 yr We recently acquired a 92 Loyale sedan that has the key broken off in the ignition. How should I get the cylinder off or get the key out? Thanks
December 13, 201015 yr Buy a set of key extractors, shoot a bit of lube ( like wd40) in there and use the tools to pull it out. Instructions: Link: http://www.clksupplies.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=197&products_id=1187 Good luck.

Some dealers still can make you an original key from the VIN number (bring your ID and proof of ownership). If that doesn't work, remove the door card from the passenger side front door and gain access to the door lock cylinder. Using a flashlight and mirror copy the key number off the cylinder (something like W334) and take it to a quality locksmith who can make a master key from that number.
December 14, 201015 yr ...Also you can... ... remove the door card from the passenger side front door and gain access to the door lock cylinder. ... ...and Take the Whole Lock Cylinder to a Locksmith; I did That Long time ago and Worked Very well. That Works 'cos the Locksmith uses the Actual position of the Lock Cylinder to Cut a Whole New Key, with the Advantage of Testing it Right There. Kind Regards.
