February 7, 201115 yr Looking to get new tires and im just curious what the biggest tire i can fit under it stock. I dont mind beating and hacking on the fenders or cutting into the rear doors. I have tried searching but cant seem to find what im looking for.
February 7, 201115 yr should do a seach on this there are tons of threads about it. 195/75/14 - 27X8.50X14 or a 205/75/15, if you are really hard core you can get 30's on it stock......... but it will be pretty worthless Jeff
February 7, 201115 yr I stuffed some 235-75-15's. cant turn for crap unless you lift it atleast two inches.
February 7, 201115 yr why do you say its hard to steer? Probably because its.......wait for it.................... Hard to steer? There is a super duper FAQ at the top of the offroad sub-forum, it should have all the basic questions you have answered in one convenient place.
February 7, 201115 yr Probably because its.......wait for it.................... Hard to steer? There is a super duper FAQ at the top of the offroad sub-forum, it should have all the basic questions you have answered in one convenient place. FTW! But seriously...yeah. Most of the sub-forums around here have FAQs stickied to the top. They're very informative. Also, (and you'll hear this a ton) search, search, search, my good man! This forum has been around for quite a while, meaning pretty much everything has already been asked. If you poke around for a bit, you can usually find a bunch of guys who have already asked/answered whatever you need to know.
February 7, 201115 yr Oh yeah - and.... 27s will require some serious beating/hacking - especially if they're Swampers, which generally run larger than tires of the 'same size' by other manufacturers.
February 7, 201115 yr Its not hard to turn unless you are doing some trail rides/climbing rough terrain. Mine turns fine but it doesnt go into anything serious. If you want 235's and are doing some serious offroading then you will need a four inch lift.
February 16, 201115 yr Has anyone tried these in a 195/75/14 ? http://www.onlinetires.com/products/vehicle/tires/cooper/195%252F75-14+cooper+discoverer+radial+lt+93q.html
February 21, 201115 yr just do a 2 inch and run 27's .........like these http://www.intercotire.com/tires.php?id=54&g=3
February 22, 201115 yr I don't even want to know the price of those buggers, but mounted on 14" pugs......those'd fit under a 6+ lift!!!!!!!!
February 25, 201115 yr should do a seach on this there are tons of threads about it. 195/75/14 - 27X8.50X14 or a 205/75/15, if you are really hard core you can get 30's on it stock......... but it will be pretty worthless Jeff Do those 195/65/R14 fit stock without much rub or beating? They're exactly the same diameter (25.5") as the 205/65/R15 Im putting on mine and im still unsure how it will fit for everyday driving (99% daily driving right now, no offroad) Would be sweet if i could just toss them on without a lift. Im getting the wheels next weekend but cant spend anymore money on the Sube until I start my summer job and have more money.
