August 19, 201312 yr Author I got the motor in today, but ran into a problem with the lift kit. The valve cover on the driver's side was sitting on top of the front lift block. So I had to modify it a bit to make it work, but I got it. Here's the motor feeling right at home.

September 6, 201312 yr Author Well the brat is as finished as I can get it at this point. I'll have to button up the rest of the issues after the show.
December 12, 201312 yr Author Did you get a different (longer) set of ARP studs and if so what is the part number? Thanks! Nope, I just used stock EJ22 head bolts.
