91-92 Legacy parts compatibility

Featured Replies

I got offered a 91 turbo hood for my 92 legacy, and I know they changed the front end in 92 making them a bit longer. Was the hood changed at the same time or was it just the grill headlights a fenders or will the 91 hood not fit my 92?

Thanks for any answers!

-Shaun

GD is right, but

91 parts will go on a 92-94 if you switch everything, which everything is:

Grille, bumper and beam, headlights, fenders, hood, corner lights.

It is said the front radiator support is the same, but for sure bumper beams, etc are a different setup.

You could physically bolt the 92-94 hood on a 91, but when you attempt to close the hood shut, you will see the mismatch lineupd of everything from the grill to the headlights. And you cant just swap grill and headlights too, cause then they won't fit the bumper.

Okay thanks for the info, mine has a perfect front clip so I'm not going to swap everything. But good to know if I ever end up with another!

The length difference is the bumper beam and the bumper slin. Everything underneath is the same thru 94, with the core support, headlight buckets, fender bolt holes, etc

i put a turbo hood on my 93 with no problems, I tried to put my facelift front end on my 90 and the headlight and grille holes are misaligned. Too bad you aren't closer i would trade you straight up because this 90's face has grown on me. and i want a hoodscoop dangit
