ya, i was thinkin ,"how has joe not seen this thing yet?"

till i saw that he originaly posted it 6 months ago.

You could hook the throttle of the leafblower to the cars throttle and get matching boost for RPM's. Mount the leafblower on the hood and get forced air into it. :burnout:

That sounds like a back yard experiment I would be willing to try.:headbang:

Im not sure how effective it would be, but what if you used the heater blower from the vent system. it mightn't give much boost but might over-come the restrictions in the intake and the filter, (especially at WOT) and may even give lower end boost cos of the higher pressure at lower air speeds.

it was just a passing thought cos a heater blower could be picked up at the wreckers for next to nothing and dosent drain heaps from the battery

this thread needs to die! =]

a blower motor would restrict flow if anything, even at idle. a fan does not creat booost. the pressure will just slide off the fins out the opposite way of the engine.

if you want cheap, gas leaf blower is proven to work

Eureka, he cried.

Archamedes please explain how this has been done,

Sounds like a fine accesory to the jet boat (no gear shifting and tuning on the run is possible)

Dual cables and a big fuel mixture knob all calibrated together??

That would be a BAD BOY of a boat motor!

Then kill this electric supercharger S..t,

Power does not magically appear or materialize from nowhere,

There are some guilible people unfortunatly.
