Hi guys ( and gals )

I could use some advise on slim line cooling fans. Im interested it the best quality and highest cfm's I can get my hands on. Im also wondering about any pro's or con's on running the fan full time vs having the ecu triggering it.

My application is an ej20g in an ea82 wagon.

As a matter of fact, I have a couple listed for sale on another forum. Maybe you are interested?

 

They are 10", super slim, reversible, and move a TON of air. 1340CFM EACH.

 

Currently they are wired to plug and play for an OBD1 Ford.

stock mazda protege fans from the junkyard work very well also.they are about 10" and push , pull whatever.pretty high CFM's in relation to stock ej fans for sure.

I saw a pair of these mounted on capt_r's EJ swapped wagon.

He even has A/C (condenser) so they are slim enough to fit.

These will be getting installed on my swap when I replace the rad soon.

You are correct Mr. Turbone, those are the exact one's I'm running.

I have to ditch my condensor, im running fans in front of the radiator and also have a waic radiator to fit somewhere up there too. Im pretty sure the hood latch is a goner also.

10" Zirgo 1340 CFM reversible radiator cooling fan w/ curved blades. Dimensions: 11" wide x 11.5" tall x 2.75" deep. Amp draw 8-10. Part # ZF10S.

 

You can find them on ebay quite often. I think thats where I got these.

 

 

They are sweet fans. They were to be installed on my supercharged SHO Taurus, but the project got scrapped.

Any opinions on switched vs continuous ?

 

If you are running dual fans i would keep one wired to the factory harness to kick on naturally. The other one you could put on a switch for keeping low speed off road temps down.

 

Id put both on relays too, due to the amperage draw.
