i live in oklahoma and an older subaru/Volkswagen engine doesnt come around that much and my 1984 subaru brat need a new engine. will this work? and how hard would it be to swap it into my brat? and do the wiring.

No that will not work. Subaru and VW engines share virtually nothing in common with one another. And those waterboxer engines were junk besides.

I don't mean to steal the thread but what kinda motors do you have? I'm also in 99515. I drive the flat black '85 wagon with a glass pack and a stock red '87 wagon.

i looked it up and the engine itself weighs about 185lb. i have a friend that works for UPS so im going to see what he says and ill get back to you. much appreciated.
