2000 Legacy GT 60,000 mi. scraping sound from right rear tire area when moving. Front brakes done at 37,000 nothing on rear yet. Any idea of the usual suspects??

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Maybe I'm out of touch, but who does?

Do you mean you DON'T live in a pineapple under the sea?!!

I also had a scraping sound coming from the right rear but only on left turns. I took it in and they found the inner ring portion of the rotor rubbing on the backplate. The tech said it is usually hard to find but he had seen this before on Subarus so he knew right where to look. He machined the ring down a little and a half an hour later I was on the road and the scraping was gone. Brakes and wheel bearings were fine.

I had a problem like that...it was that little plastic guard (it looked like it caught stuff that'd fall or something)...came loose and would rub...but could only be heard when going slow.

check the rear caliper sliders, there is a good chance corrosion has built up causing the caliper/pad assy. might be binding.
