Videos from weekend outing

Featured Replies

Nothing too special, just a couple short quick videos from my thrashing the other weekend. Terrain is rougher than it looks and the 1st video shows an idea of what I went through. Last video is where I needed my love tug from my friends Jeep to get that last foot.

Low Range or a locker would have made a world of difference and I was done trashing it and threw in the towel.

I noted two things right away:

*Your cameraman is on a unicycle.

*You don't like to pay attention to his directions.

Got too dizzy, turned it off before it finished.

My camera man was more worried about falling over a rock than filming with his phone. He also was trying to get me to pick some lines that my car couldn't do without further modifications half the time so I wasn't fully trusting him. But I do need to trust him more though.

No automatics for me, probably wouldn't of had as much trouble in the slower sections if it was though.

Yikes, poor clutch. D/R swap time :brow:

d/r rocks !

Yeah, my interior smelled like roasted clutch for a few days. Have a few other things to worry about before I do a D/r swap though I am going to be saving up sometime soon I hope. Want to get my BRAT worked out before I do any big spending on my Outback. That and a couple things at my house too.

car looks great! good to see the subis getting on the trails.

Nice trails man.

If I make it to So Cal anytime soon we will have to go beck out there. Not too serious it looks like, but fun.

Yeah man, an Auto would have helped. D/R would have been even better.

I'm heading up to your dads the weekend b4 Turkey Day but would love to have some Subie company down here in LA to show my friends what it's all about.

No autocrapics for me, even with crawling ability I'd rather have my 3 pedals. D/r will be done some point in the next year or 2 when I get the funds for it.

BTW, your lift held up great and I did beat it a bit on that last video after it cut off.

Not to start an argument here... But the 4eat is known to have less long term issues than the 5speeds... Well taken care of they last longer.
