Does the board have a list of Sube guys / gals who will try to help a traveler in trouble ?

 

I will be driving an 86 GL-10 from NJ to Maine in April or May (600 miles). The car has not been driven in 7 years but I have not been able to find a way to move it that I could afford. Sooooo will have to drive it. Will be going from Nj, to Maine on interstate roads. Any suggestions will be welcome. I will have cell phone with me and do have AAA, so can get it off the highway anyway.

I have yet to search anything from this Board.I would never expect a list of people along this person's route to be posted.I don't understand what's wrong with this thread.

I think you misunderstood me, moosens. I was just meaning to say that there was a list from a similar set of circumstances on the board. Here is a list of Sube guys / gals who will try to help a traveler in trouble ?. I didn't mean there was anything Wrong with the post. Sorry about any misdirection on my part.

I think the list you are talking about was from Va westward. Anyway, What part of NJ? When?

Departure area is Clinton NJ (Somerville area)

 

Dates are still open -- could be Mar 25 to april 5 to possibly early May.

 

It looks like Greyhound from Maine to NJ, and then Sube back home.
