MilesFox Posted November 25, 2011 Share Posted November 25, 2011 I would not disregard a GL as consideration. But a nice first gen legacy will be very rock solid. A GL would be more fun. The gl would be more suited to take back woods trails, and is fairly simple to maintain. the best solution is to have both subarus. I have 3- 94 legacy for the woman and baby 86 gl wagon as my winter beater 86 gl coupe with 4wd swap, 5 lug conversion, and ej22 swap, weekend cruiser/sport driving/show'n shine/garage queen It's all a matter of opinion, but either choice is a way to go Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
