February 8, 201214 yr Out here that would be a great buy. If you can source an EJ22 from a junkyard and do the work yourself, you could have a good runner for a little over $1000. total. Engines in that generation are usually pretty easy and cheap to come by. Body looks great.

February 8, 201214 yr I'd jump on that in half a heartbeat. All of the work listed (clutch, rack, axles) are things that would need to be done at some point anyways. I'd source a 2.5 block and make it a frankenmotor if the only the block is bad...

February 9, 201214 yr Might be a fine source for my '97 with 230K on the body. A motor upgrade to a 2.5 would be just the ticket. Anybody local that could look at it for me? I dropped him an email, but a closer set of eyes would be useful.
