Subaru rear drive whats the strongest parts?

Featured Replies

OK Ive been breaking EA82 axles and stub shafts offroading, I would like to stick with Subaru parts, whats the strongest axles, rear diff parts avilable ?? what cars do the parts come on? would be ice to get the parts off a used car

I pretty sure 95+ r160's diffs came with solid axel clip in stubs, and most ej axels I'd say are going to be stronger than an old EA82 axel.

I haven't had any problems yet with my legacy axles yet.

I'm going to use an R200 Clutch LSD rear diff (off a Z31 300ZX Turbo) and probably custom made stubs and shortened drive shafts on my EA81 RWD Wagon. I hope the stock CV joints will hold 350 lb-ft of torque (car is only meant to do big slides on wet/dry tarmac).
