987687 Posted October 16, 2012 Share Posted October 16, 2012 I'm thinking about getting a car with a phase2 2.5 that has a broken timing belt. When that happens, does it usually eat the pistons? Eh, not with a phase2. 2.2 heads don't flow as well, an they're only single port. I'd be much better off having my 2.5 heads decked if I wanted to go that route. Then decide which Heads and Mani to use. Again, that doesn't work well with phase2 land. You can't bolt a phase2 intake manifold to phase1 heads.
