just to give ya an idea.. i paid $60 for mine... had to put new exhaust on it from the y-pipe back, new windshield, it needed tires.. it has cold A/C too 4wd d/r 4speed..

 

now the good stuff... it had 200k, no 3rd gear synchro problem, gets 32 mpg, runs great. leaks a little bit.. almost rust free..

 

depending on location yours could be worth a few hundred, to at the most maybe 8 or 900..

Well, that depends, are you buying or selling?? From your post I'd say you were buying. Has the current owner given you a price??

he wants 600 bucks, glass all good, interior is ok, and other work has been done to it , i will be talking to the owner again tonight , i only talked to his father which knows very little about it , thanks

If it is what he said it is, $600 is a fair price. Offer him less, but be prepared to pay his price. If he needs to get rid of the car, he'll deal with you, if not he may stand solid on the price. Offer $450 and see where it goes from there.
