The Y-pipe on my '85 gl wagon (EA82) is shot, but my dad saved his from his '80? gl sedan (EA81) in the rafters of the garage, it's brand-new, would they be interchangeable? if not, would it be an easy modification?

well, a ea82 Y pipe will fit on an EA81, so it should be possible........

it was explained to me you need the spacers from the EA81 to put it on the EA82. but yes it will fit on

mcbrat is correct, but an ea81 pipe is too short to clear the crossmember on an ea82 body.
